I started this site in February 2002 when one of our cats died and I wanted to make a webpage in his memory. So the site was started with "Thomas" and the index page, and hosted on Yahoo. It then just continued, and I liked having somewhere to practise html and put photos and bits of news for faraway friends and relatives to look at and keep in touch. Now it's still fulfilling that function and it is also somewhere I can say exactly what I want. The freedom of speech the internet gives is wonderful! I made the decision to have it professionally redesigned because if I decide to do something I like to do it reasonably well.
